"There are no conspiracies, goy!"

Again here's another conspiracy theorist predicting 9/11, the current PM in his own words for you to pretend you can't understand, see or hear

I was in Reading that day, working at a computer company for the day. Was wondering why everyone has stopped work to watch the telly. Fuckin crazy.

Always wondered why those above the crash didn’t go on the roof and just freestyle it down to the ground as it collapsed. Probably would have survived tbh!

Was at home, heard about first plane, turned on the box, was watching rest of the day. Remember the news at 10 being very sombre and unlike any news broadcast I've ever seen.

Re: 9/11
I agree with all my co-religionists with the well drilled incantation of "There are no conspiracies, goy!"

Except the official narrative (invented by ex isreali PM Ehud Barak live on telly) is the most insane illogical and baseless conspiracy theory of them all.

I remember being at work watching the towers come down in realtime in a clearly controlled demolition and discussing this with my bosses who had set up TVs in the conference room to watch it all unfold.
Remember going to the game that night (Defoe missing a penalty, never forget!) and the talk about how there will no doubt be footage available that will show who planted the explosives to bring the buildings down and all will be revealed in time.
No theorising, just responding to what was seen and what facts we hoped would be revealed.

It wasn't till I got home later that night that I realised that the establishment decided to go ahead with the batshit crazy conspiracy theory that close friend of Jeffrey Epstein and former PM Ehud Barak was bullshitting about live on BBC1 just 1 hour after the 1st plane had hit the building, quite incredible really, but there you have it.

How he was able to be in the studio, within 50 odd minutes of the 1st plane hitting (find out the plane had hit wait until it's certain it's not an accident... wash up, get a cab down to the BBC offices etc...) and there he is the gargoyle faced kiddy raping cunt spouting insane conspiracy theories leading to a propagandist push for wars against "Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Libya, N.Korea".
That's what they call a Cohencidence, just a stroke of luck he happened to be in the area ready for an interview telling you it's Ozzy Bin laden and which random countries to destroy.

Scary stuff really

Sat at my desk (when I worked in IT). Had headphones on. Mate called me to ask me if i knew what happend as a "plane had hit tower" as.he knew id been working In NYC just a couple of years before. i just dismissed it as i assumed it one of those little bi planes people used to fly round it.
Put headphones back in and got on with pretending to work.

Noticed a few people huddled round a computer and for a few moments I just assumed they were looking at some bullahit to do with work. But even with my headphones I could sense something was up.

Then I found out what was going on (just after the 2nd plane)

All the major sites were down, this site was the providing my office with news.

Remember there was a poster called philly hammer (?) we were talking to in Philadelphia

We all got sent home shortly after

Juat went to the oun and watched the news for hours.

Horrendous day

Similar to TrickyPablo. I was working on a trading floor on a high floor in midtown facing south.

One of the guys near me said ‘where’s he going?’ as he saw the first plane heading south.

Then had the bizarre experience of being able to see the smoke in the distance and the television screens hung from the ceiling showing the coverage.

A couple of years before when we’d been looking for more floor space I’d been involved in looking at space in the Trade Center but we eventually chose the mid town site.

Only goes to show how thin the margins in life can be.

Are you sure about that? The 9/11 attack was in 2001. The Good Friday Agreement was signed in 1998.

Re: 9/11
I was at work. We always had the radio on and suddenly the report came in. I had been to New York only 6 months prior and so it resonated with me a little more than others in my office at that time. One girl said "They said a plane flew into one of the buildings" in a sort of dismissive way which was down to her innocent naivety at not knowing the size of the buildings. I, however, having stood underneath them and from knowing them knew that this was a lot worse than was being reported.

I remember leaving the office for a short while and then when I went back the same girl said to me "They said one of the towers fell down" again in a dismissively naïve manner and i said "No. Sorry. You mid-heard. There is no way one of those towers cam down". So we listened more intently and to my utter disbelief I heard the report tell me what she had said.

I felt sick. I went upstairs to the TV room and found a crowd standing watching and it unfolded in front of me like it did for millions of others.

I still find it hard to believe even today that it actually happened.

God bless all who perished.

Re: 9/11
ICAP one is brilliant but actually has nothing to do with 9/11, great day none the less and whilst working there loads of fun was had on those days and the evenings after. Getting in for market open the next morning was always painful if you werent asleep under your desk having sacked off even attempting to get home after boozing all day and night.

Re: 9/11
I was working for a Dutch Bank in the City at the time when a colleague mentioned a plane had just flown into the World Trade Centre. My immediate thought was that it was a crazy American committing suicide in his light aircraft, or he just got lost in fog (didn’t know it was clear blue sky at the time).

A short time later it was said to be a commercial air liner and then it all started to go crazy. We watched it all unfold on a big TV screen in the boardroom and I remember the girls in the office sobbing.

Work just stopped for the day and the guys in the office including myself went to the Scottish Pound pub opposite for a few hours and then drifted off home.

Over the years I’ve held many conversations with Yanks who had a sad story to tell from their own personal experience of that awful day.

Slightly off topic but it was mentioned about the BGC and ICAP charity days.
I’ve been fortunate to attend many of those as a guest and can say the ICAP event is amazing for quality of celeb, plus the whole set up with pop up bars on the trading floors and the general party atmosphere. Lots of money raised for great charities.

Although it was shocking,it helped sort the problems in Northern Ireland as all the 5th generation Micks in a Boston and New York realised financing terrorists has consequences, and stopped sending funds to the IRA,

I was driving past the garage in Piltdown when I heard the news that a small plane had crashed into the tower.

I immediately turned round and went home to watch the news.

Tenerife with an ex. Sat by pool bar TV when it broke on CNN. Spent rest of day and night watching coverage with loads of others rather than being out enjoying ourselves. Flew home 2 days later with untold security at the airport which was quite daunting.
